Prominent personalities including the President MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo attended the funeral prayer of Hajiya Aishatu Abduljalil, mother of Dr. Ado Muhammed Sani, Director Kaduna liaison office of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN).
Late Hajiya Aishatu died at the National Hospital Abuja on Monday, 1st April, 2024, and was buried in Nasarawa town, Nasarawa State after the funeral prayer at the Emir's Palace in Nasarawa.
Condoling the deceased's family shortly after the funeral prayer, Prof. Gwarzo described the passing away of Hajiya Aishatu as a great loss not only to her mmediate family but to the entire community.
"We lost a great mother but we are consoled by the fact that the deceased lived a fulfilled life by raising good children.
"So, on behalf of myself and the management of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire family members of Dr. Ado Muhammed Sani," Prof. Gwarzo said.
While praying to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her the highest rank in Jannahtul Firdaus, Prof. Gwarzo prayed to Allah to give her family the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
Responding on behalf of the bereaved family, Dr. Ado Muhammad Sani thanked Prof. Gwarzo and his entourage for personally attending the funeral prayer for his beloved mother.
He prayed to God to reward Prof. Gwarzo and all those who attended the funeral prayer abundantly and return them home safely.
Late Hajiya Aishatu who left behind children and grandchildren, was buried in accordance with the Islamic rites in Nasarawa town, Nasarawa State.
