The President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, (MAAUN), Kano, Prof. (Dr) Mohammad Israr has approved the extension of Sallah Break earlier communicated from Saturday, 9th July to Monday18 July, 2022 to all staff and students of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria Kano.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Vice President Administration/Registrar, Dr. Habib Uwais Abubakar and issued on Monday, 11th July 2022.
According to the statement, this circular supersedes the earlier circular issued in respect of the Sallah break.
"The President on behalf of Pro-Chancellor, Chairman Governing Council, Senate, Management, staff and students wish the University Community a peaceful and Happy Sallah celebration, the statement added.
