The Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN) Nigeria and Franco-British International University (FBIU) Kaduna, has condoled with the family of late Tahir Fadlallah who died in the early hours of Friday, April 29, 2022 in Beirut, Lebanon at the age of 73.
Until his death, Fadlallah was the chairman of the Lebanese Community in Kano and owner of the famous Tahir Guests Palace
The condolence message was contained in a statement signed by the President and Founder of the University, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to newsmen in Kano on Friday..
According to the statement, the death of Tahir Fadllah was a great loss not only to his immediate family and Lebanese community in Nigeria, but to the entire Muslims community in Nigeria and the world at large.
"I was shocked to hear the news about the death of Tahir Fadallah. May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus," Professor Adamu Gwarzo said.
Professor Gwarzo described the deceased as a "patriotic son of Kano and Nigeria" as who was committed to providing job opportunities to youths in his companies during his life time.
He recalled that late Fadallah was among the 82 people honoured by the Kano State Government in 2017 for their contributions to the development of the state.
"On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, I wish to extend our heart felt condolence to his family. May the Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the courage to bear this monumental loss.
Professor Adamu Gwarzo,who is also the President, Association of Private Universities in Africa also condoled the governments of Nigeria and Lebanon as well as the Kano state over the demise of Tahir Fadallah.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Professor Adamu Gwarzo, who is the President, Association of Proprietors of Private Universities in Africa also condoled with the governments of Nigeria and Lebanon as well as the Kano state over the great loss.
The deceased who left behind one wife and five children, had since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites in Beirut, Lebanon.
