MAAUN commiserates with Sallaman Hausawa Turai's family over his death

 


The Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) conglomerate and Franco-British International University (FBIU) Kaduna, professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has condoled with the family of late Sallaman HausawaTurai, Alhaji Baba Inusa, who died on Tuesday, 7th June at the age of 72 in Cameroun.

Until his death, Inusa was a renowned businessman and traditional title holder of Sallaman HausawanTurai in France.

The condolence message was contained in a statement  personally signed by the Founder and Chairman, Governing Council of MAAUN, Kano, Professor Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to newsmen in Kano on Thursday.

According to the statement, the death of the traditional title holder was a great loss not only to his immediate family and Cameroun but to the entire Hausa community in Europe.

"I was shocked to hear the news about the death of Baba Inusa who spent more than 42 years in France which earned him the traditional title holder of Sallaman HausawaTurai. May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus," he said.

Professor Abubakar Gwarzo, who is also the traditional title holder of Wazirin HausawanTurai, described the deceased as a humble and peace loving gentleman.

"On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, I wish to extend our heart felt condolence to his family. May the Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the family the courage to bear the irreparable loss.

Professor Adamu Gwarzo, who is the President, Association of Private Universities in Africa also condoled the governments of Cameroun and France over the demise of the traditional title holder.

He condoled with the Hausa community in Europe over the death of the traditional title holder and businessman.

The deceased who left behind one wife and five children, had since been buried in his home town in Cameroun in accordance with the Islamic rites.
