The President, MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has condoled with two students of the University, who lost their father, Alhaji Sunusi Abdullahi Kwanar Huguma.
The bereaved students are Mutawakkil Abdullahi Sanusi and Abdullahi Sanusi Abdullahi who are 300 level students of MAAUN Maradi studying Cyber Security and Business Administration respectively
In a condolence message on Wednesday, Prof. Gwarzo expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Sanusi Abdullahi.
He described the death of the deceased as a great loss not only to his immediate family, but to his friends and business associates.
"Indeed every soul shall taste death. It was a great loss. We pray for Allah's mercy upon him and may He also forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
"On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria and Niger, I wish to extend our condolences to the children, relations and friends of the deceased," Prof. Gwarzo said.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to give the bereaved students and entire family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
Late Alhaji Sanusi Abdullahi was the Chairman ASA Oil and Gas and a
former Treasurer of the defunct All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP) Kano State chapter.
The deceased who left behind three wives and 30 children, had since been buried in accordance with the Islamic rites.
