Happy birthday to a philanthropist par excellence, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo@46

By Tukur Muntari Masanawa

There is no doubt that Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo is a philanthropist par  excellence who should be celebrated by all well meaning Nigerians, especially the less privileged who benefit most from his generousity and deep benevolence.

Prof. Gwarzo is known to be a person who always seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by his generous donation of money to good causes as well as awarding scholarships to indigent students who are from poor backgrounds to enable them to further their studies.

Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo's name is now a household name not only in Nigeria but in the entire African continent because of his generosity, benevolence and many other good things.

First and foremost, It will not be an exaggeration to say that Prof. Gwarzo is the only person in Nigeria and Africa who single handedly established four private universities of international standard equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

The universities are: Maryam Abacha American University of Niger based in Maradi, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria located in Kano, Franco British International University (FBIU), Kaduna and Canadian University of Nigeria (CUN), Abuja.

For any person to establish these four international universities within a short period, that person deserves to be celebrated by Nigerians especially Northerners who are the direct beneficiaries of the gesture.

On behalf of the MAAUN Media team,I wish to facilitate with you in this auspicious period and for pushing to strive for excellence every day. It is a rare opportunity to have a boss who inspires their employees the way you inspire us.

You have my immense appreciation for all the support and encouragement you have given us.

As you celebrate this milestone, it is my prayer that you will be graced with many more years filled with sound health, joy and more wisdom even as God guides and prospers you in the many more years of service to humanity.

Certainly, your impressive pedigree in philanthropy, human and financial resource management, as well as educational advancement, inspire me to also contribute my quota to the growth and development of the nation.

I pray Allah (SWT) to grant you continuous good health, knowledge and wisdom so as to continue to impact the lives of citizens, particularly the less privileged in our midst.
