MAAUN Niger-Maradi congratulates Prof. Gwarzo on approval of Canadian, Franco-British Varsities


Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger, Maradi, has congratulated Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo over the approval given by the Federal Government for the establishment of Canadian University of Nigeria, Abuja and Franco-British International University, Kaduna. 

The Federal Executive Council on Monday, 15th May, 2023, at its sitting approved the establishment of the Canadian University of Nigeria and Franco-British International University, Kaduna, which are privately owned by Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo. 

The Vice President Administration MAAUN Niger, Dr. Shu'aibu Tanko made the remark while speaking with newsmen in Maradi, Niger Republic on Monday. 

According to him, Prof. Gwarzo deserves to be congratulated and commended for achieving this giant stride.
He said the approval for the establishment of the two private universities at a time by the Federal Executive Council is a clear indication that the Federal Government of Nigeria is satisfied with Prof. Gwarzo's commitment to providing quality education in the country.
 
He expressed hope that the two new Universities will do their best like the two MAAUN sister Universities in Niger and Nigeria in keeping with their tradition for academic excellence. 

"We hope the two new Universities will be a shining example of MAAUN Nigeria which has become a private university of reference for its excellent performance since it commenced academic activities," Dr. Tanko said.

He charged the management of the two new institutions to provide the necessary leadership that will bring development and progress to the University in various aspects.
