Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano, has congratulated popular Nigerian actor and Producer, Ali Nuhu on his 49th birthday, describing him as one of the most influential actor in the history of both Nollywood and Kannywood films.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed by the Founder of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, and issued to newsmen on Friday.
Prof. Gwarzo who is also the Chairman Governing Council of MAAUN, noted that the renowned actor who acts in both English and Hausa deserves to be celebrated at this auspecious moment in view of his tremendous contribution to the movie industry.
He said the celebrant who doubles as Director, Script writer and Choreographer, had made great impact in the Kannywood industry which will remain indelible in the memories of many Nigerians especially in the areas of providing direct and indirect jobs to many unemployed persons.
"On behalf of myself and Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, I wish to joint other Nigerians in congratulating you as you mark your 49th birthday on 15th March 2023," Prof. Gwarzo said.
He prayed God to grant the the celebrant long life, sound health and success in all his future endeavours to enable him retain his title "King of Kannywood".
