President MAAUN Nigeria commiserates with female student over father's demise


The President of Maryam Abacha America of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, has condoled with one of the female students, Aisha Muhammad Bukar over the death of her father, Comrade Muhammad Muhammed Bukar.

The deceased died around 2am on Saturday, 10th September, 2022, at his residence in Damaturu, Yobe State following a protracted illness.

The condolence message was contained in a statement by Prof. (Dr.) Israr, a copy of which was made available to newsmen in Kano on Saturday evening.

Prof. (Dr.) Israr described the death of Comrade Muhammad Bukar, who was a former chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) as a great loss not only to his immediate family but to Yobe State and the country.

"I wish to behalf of myself, entire staff as well as students of MAAUN Nigeria, extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Aisha Muhammad Bukar, a 100 level student of Nursing Sciences over the demise of her father, Comrade Muhammad Bukar," Prof. (Dr.) Israr said.

The President of MAAUN also  commiserated with the Government and people of Yobe State over the death of the former General Manager of Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWASA) in the state.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to give the bereaved student and members of her family the strength and courage to bear the huge loss.

He also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased politician and unionist the highest level of Jannah (Jannatul Firdaus).

The deceased, who was also the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) House of Representatives candidate, was survived by thrée wives and 14 children.

Late Muhammad Muhammed Bukar had since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites in his hometown Damaturu, Yobe State.
